Anthony L. Schmidt, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Schmidt serves as Medical Director of Clinicore Laboratories, with responsibility for clinical oversight of all testing performed. That includes direct oversight of testing personnel, review and approval of test methods and validation studies, establishment of reportable ranges and reference intervals, and maintenance of regulatory compliance under CLIA.
Every assay Clinicore develops is reviewed and approved by the Medical Director before it is used for patient testing. As a board-certified pathologist, Dr. Schmidt meets the CLIA qualification requirements to direct a high-complexity clinical laboratory.
Dr. Schmidt is also a part owner of Clinicore.
